Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What speeds does this Wi-Fi 6 card support?
This card supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) with theoretical speeds up to 2400 Mbps. To reach those speeds your router also needs to support Wi-Fi 6. On a Wi-Fi 5 router it still works at Wi-Fi 5 speeds — a significant improvement over Wi-Fi 4 cards.

Q: Does this card include Bluetooth?
Yes — this card includes Bluetooth 5.2 in addition to WiFi. Both use a single M.2 slot and a single driver package. No separate Bluetooth adapter is needed; your OS will detect both the WiFi and Bluetooth interfaces automatically.

Q: How do I install drivers for this MediaTek card?
Download the driver from your laptop manufacturer’s support page. Windows 10/11 may detect this card automatically; if not, the OEM support page will list the correct driver for your laptop model.

Q: Does this card come with antenna cables?
No — antenna cables are pre-installed inside your laptop and connect to the card using standard MHF4 (IPEX) snap connectors. This card has 2 antenna connectors. You reuse your existing cables; no additional parts are needed.

Q: Is this the original card from a Dell Inspiron?
Yes — this card was removed from a Dell Inspiron laptop. It is genuine OEM hardware. While it was pulled from a Dell Inspiron, it will work in any laptop that accepts the same form factor and interface — not just Dell Inspiron models.
